I completely forgot...

Jett started walking all over the place on April 15...so about a week or so ago. He is such a good little walka walka now. He goes everywhere. I tell ya, it's a whole new world with him walking. I will get some video of it and post it once we are feeling better (me and poor monkey have had the stomach flu for almost a week now...no fun). It is so fun to watch Jett learn and grow. It was so sudden that he started walking. The night before he couldn't and then the next day he was walking everywhere. About time he got brave enough to do it. He has been walking around the furniture and such since he was 10 months...yay for Monkey the Walka Walka (poor kid has so many nicknames from his silly mom...Monk, Bug, Jetterbug, and now Walka Walka...I swear when he gets old enough I will stop...maybe!)

Boderline Bob

I am totally turning into Bob from "What About Bob?" Any time I hear of anyone being sick I go into panic mode and don't want me or Jetterbug touching them. I can just picutre in my mind their skin and breath crawling with tiny germs. Now...the funny thing is I work in the ER and I have to touch sick people!!!!! I immediately go wash my hands and rub alcohol rub on. I have a problem that I don't know how to get over. I have been hearing people talk about the Swine Flu and I am freaking out. People are dying from that...and Dustin and Nicole are going to Mexico on their honeymoon and I am just positive they are going to bring it home (AHHHH, Paranoid much?). I am a weirdo but I hate hate hate germs. I seriously considered not taking Jett out of the house :) I am a freak! And don't even get me started on the Bird Flu epidemic. I have been in panic mode about that for awhile now. I keep thinking "I need to get more food storage so we can stay in our house for months when it comes" Seriously, I am driving poor Chad up the wall with my germaphobic ways. I never used to be like this until Monkey came along. I have issues and I am going out of my mind.

Big Change at the Romero Home...

I have absolutely loved staying home with Jett this past year. It has been amazing. He is my best little buddy. But...I got an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I am going back to work but only two days a week at night. Every Sunday and Monday I will work in the ER at McKay from 3:00 - 11:30. So, I will still get to spend my days and time with Jetterbug, but I can get out of the house and feel like a productive part of society too. I know, being a mom is the best job in the world but when you start talking back to the T.V. it's time to get out of the house. I am going to miss my Monkey. At least Chad will be the one with him those two nights...thank goodness for that! Here's to getting out of the house...

EASTER WEEKEND

I know that Jett is only 1 but I took him to the egg hunt anyway. IT WAS LAME. North Ogden (I decided to support the city we live, big mistake) only had paper eggs on the ground. You turned the eggs in for one mini box of whoppers. LAME LAME LAME. Good thing he is only 1. I will have to take him somewhere else next year. Later that night we were bored so we colored eggs. Dustin and Chad got so into it. They are so funny. On Easter morning Jett was so excited to see his baskett. He started clapping and laughing, it was so cute. He got a swimsuit, flip flops, the movie Robin Hood, and some animal shaped eggs with little treats inside. Plus he got some yogurt snacks. He was in heaven. After church we went to Chad's parents and had dinner. They always spoil Jett and Easton. They got them so many cute bath toys and then each a lawn mower to push around. They are amazing. Thanks you guys! It was a fun Easter and even better hanging out with family...we missed you Nicole!!! It was a great weekend. Picture Post is Below...

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY....

DON'T EVEN COME BACK ANOTHER DAY! I have been so excited for our family pictures it is ridiculous, and it just doesn't seem to be working out. We were booked for March 23...snow. We were booked for March 26...rain. We booked for Today April 8....freezing rain. Now it is pushed clear until May 6th and if it is cold and rainy that day I will scream. We reall want some great outside pics of us and it has to be great weather. The amazingly talented Anne Montgomery (Annimations Photography) has been so patient to work with us. She knows we want them outside so she has been so willing to accomodate. You should check out her blog. She is amazing. Cross your fingers we get to do them May 6th.
