Jett loves Braxton. He just stares at him and follows him around. It is so cute. I am so glad Jett has so many fun cousins to play with and I am so happy he has Braxton to look up to.

3. I began my wait for Chad to get off his mission (longest two years of my life)
4. I worked at Mini Mart (Good Times!!!)
5. I still had braces :(

1 YEAR AGO:
1. I was scrambling to finish finals
2. I graduated from college
3. I was pregnant
4. I worked at Mckay-Dee Hospital (Some more good times..right Cynthia and Joni???)
5. I was looking forward to my life with my new baby

THIS YEAR:
1. I was blessed with my sweet Jetterbug
2. I quit my job to stay home with the babe
3. I've became sleep deprived
4. I Celebrated my 2nd anniversary with the best man in the world
5. I've smiled more than ever before

NEXT YEAR:
Who knows what god has in store...hopefully more happiness and smiles, more ups than downs, and fun memory making with my little family!!! Life is beautiful and hopefully it stays that way.

Monkey has teeth!!

If you look really close you can see two bottom teeth! I can't believe it. He looks so cute. One is pretty much all the way out and the other is working on it with just the tip visible. He has been so irritable lately and now I know why. My baby is growing up!!!

Busy Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent it with Chad's family and had such a good time. We ate and then just sat around together and played som Pac Man and talked. It was a fun and calm day. Just what we needed. Then on Saturday we celebrated mine and Cheryl's birthday (hers was Nov 29th and mine Dec 1st). In the morning we (Me, Chad, Cheryl, Raul, and Dust) went to breakfast and to the temple. Then later we (plus Nikki, Jared, E, Nicole, and G & G Baltazar) went to Texas Road House for dinner. They made me and Cheryl sit on the stupid saddle while they announced our birthday. Talk about embarassing. Then we went back to the house and had cake and ice cream and opened gifts and just sat around talking again. It was such a good time (well, up until I clipped little baby E's finger and made him bleed while clipping his nails...i never felt so bad). Monday, on my actual birthday, Chad took me out to eat and to spend some money (two of my favorite things!!). It was such a fun and busy week. I love spending time with the family. That is exactly why I love this time of year. Everyone makes time to spend together. It's a so fun.

Makes ya' think...

Every year around this time we all start to think about what we are thankful for. It's a shame we don't do it more often but I am glad we have Thanksgiving to remind us to take a second to realize how blessed we are. Tonight when I was sitting at the table eating dinner with Chad's family I realized just how lucky I truley am. I am so thankful for my boys. Chad and Jett are the best part of everyday and they are what keeps me going and pushing through each day. I love them so much. I can't believe how lucky I am to have so many good people in my life. My sisters and I are so close and I don't know what I would do without them and Chad's family is amazing. I can't believe how lucky I am to have married into such a wonderful and loving family. Tonight we just sat around talking and playing pac-man and it was the best time I have had in a long time. I love them so much. And last (but not least) I am so thankful for my knowledge of the gospel. I don't know where I (or my family) would be without it. I am so thankful I know what I know. Just knowing of god's plan and his love makes this life so much more beautiful and meaningful. I love my life...simple as that.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME...

Those of you who know me well know that I am in love with George Strait. Chad knows that if George (or Mike Shinoda form Linkin Park) ever asked me to run away with him I would go, simple as that. However, I have found a new love. I am ALMOST ashamed to admit the new obsession I have, but I can't help it. I think I am in love with T.I. (yes, he is in fact the rapper T.I.) At the bottom of the blog is his video for "Whatever you like" and I so wish he would sing it to me. I think maybe I love his facial expressions and that's what I am attracted to, but I love him. If only he had more appropriate songs...I could look at him more. I know, I am pathetic.

Life at the Romero home is much different now that Monkey can crawl and choose where he goes and plays. He wont stay put and he surely doesn't want to be held. He is such a wiggle bum. He has been crawling since saturday and he has already gotten into the drawers through out the house and he has even opened Chad's 5 disc DVD changer. I turned my back for a minute and he was over there in a flash. He is so funny. I love watching him learn new things and discover himself. It is amazing.

WE'RE MOBILE!!!

Chad and I took my nephew to the movies tonight and when we went to pick Jett up from my sister he crawled to Chad. It was amazing. Of course, I cried and Chad grinned from ear to ear. I can't believe my baby is crawling. Time goes so fast! I will try and get some video of it tomorrow and post it. Time to prepare rearrange my house to accomodate his mobility...

WE'RE BACK FROM THE DEAD!

Ok, so I had a freak-out moment and removed our blog because of weirdos!! But, once I did I felt I was banned from a world I desperately wanted to be part of. It felt werid. Plus, I didn't discuss it with Chad and when I told him he seemed a little bummed. When I would put Jett down for a nap or at night when he was asleep, I enjoyed having the blog to "relax" with. Silly, I know but a stay at home mom has to have something of her own right? Something to keep her connected. So, even though we don't have that many followers, we are back but private! I re-posted the slides from past months but nothing more, everything was lost. I am an idiot! I have to start all over and all my boring ramblings from before are history. Don't worry, I am sure to post more rambles in the future. Anyway, we're back! If you read the blog please leave your email address and I will add you. THANKS!
